What is TOEFL?
The TOEFL test is an English-language test recognized by more than 9,000 universities, colleges, and agencies in more than 130 countries. The TOEFL IBT is an internet-based test that has four sections: Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking. Each section has a perfect score of 30 points, with a total score of 120 points. The test will last for 4 and a half hours long.

Where And When Can You Take The TOEFL iBT® Test?
The TOEFL test has more than 50 test dates per year and 4,500 test centers in 165 countries. One can retake the test as many times as they want, but it cannot be taken more than once in a 12-day period. If one already has a test schedule, he/she cannot register for another test date that is within 12 days of the existing test date.
Sending your TOEFL iBT® Scores
Your four official TOEFL® score reports will be sent to the TOEFL Destinations that you have selected before you take the test. Recipients can be added or deleted via the online registration system until 10 p.m. a day prior to the scheduled test date. For added recipients made after the 10 p.m., a fee of US$18 for each requested score report will be charged. Score recipients cannot be altered after the 10 p.m. deadline. Official score reports will be sent approximately 13 days after taking the exam. Expect 7–10 days allowance after the mailing date for those that will be delivered in the United States, and 4–6 weeks for those outside the United States territory.
